🚨 ETFs QUIETLY CHANGED THE WAY BTC & ETH MOVE — AND MOST PEOPLE MISSED IT. The headlines rarely dig into this part. A lot of traders still think the relationship is simple: US stocks up → crypto up. US stocks down → crypto down. But since spot ETFs launched, the transmission mechanism has changed. ETF market makers and arbitrage activity can directly connect intraday moves in US equities with the crypto market. That’s why $BTC and $ETH tend to see noticeably higher volatility during US market hours. And when US markets close? Liquidity gets thinner, and crypto can start printing those dramatic breakouts and dumps that later turn out to be false signals. ▪️ $BTC Bitcoin is increasingly behaving like an overseas high-beta tech ETF, rather than the traditional “digital gold” narrative. Whales are still accumulating on-chain at lower levels, while spot ETF flows continue moving in and out. Those two forces are pulling against each other — which helps explain why BTC has been grinding sideways. 📍 $63,300 is the key dividing line. Hold above it → bulls maintain upward momentum. Break below it → BTC could quickly test the lower chip/accumulation zone. ▪️ $ETH Ethereum is even more exposed to this mechanism. The capital base of ETH ETFs is much smaller than BTC ETFs, so ETH has significantly less ability to absorb selling pressure. That’s why when negative news hits US stocks, BTC may simply oscillate while ETH breaks below several short-term moving averages. Positive news and roadmap updates can create short-term pumps, but without genuine ETF capital inflows, sustaining that strength becomes difficult. ⚠️ And here’s the trap I’d watch closely: Big moves during weekends, when US markets are closed, have much lower reference value.
