The institutional door keeps opening wider. Morgan Stanley just launched Ethereum and Solana ETPs (MSSE and MSOL on NYSE Arca), extending its lineup past Bitcoin into the two biggest smart-contract chains, weeks after E*TRADE turned on crypto spot trading. When a wirehouse this size wraps ETH and SOL, the "is crypto investable" debate is effectively over for its clients.
The detail that matters is the move past BTC. Bitcoin ETPs were the toe in the water; Ethereum and Solana products mean allocators are being offered the asset class, not just the reserve asset. That's how a wealth-management giant normalizes altcoins for advisors who'll never touch self-custody. Distribution again, quietly doing more for adoption than any rally. SOL's inclusion is the one I'd watch, the clearest institutional vote yet beyond the top two.
