🚨 Not every "institution is buying" headline tells the full story. Context matters. Lately, there's been a wave of posts claiming that BTCS is aggressively buying $CORE. The reality is more nuanced—and understanding the difference is important. First, don't confuse the companies: 🇵🇱 BTCS S.A. (Poland) ≠ 🇺🇸 BTCS Inc. (NASDAQ). They are completely separate entities. Here's what the public information actually shows: ✅ BTCS S.A. holds over 18.48 million $CORE, but these tokens were received through a node/ecosystem cooperation agreement, not purchased on the open market. That's a very different narrative from an institution accumulating through secondary-market buying. There's also confusion around the company's $100 million Series G financing. Many posts claim the entire raise is being used to buy $CORE. That's not what has been publicly outlined. The reported allocation plan is: • 60% → BTC • 30% → ZIG • 10% → CORE (roughly $10 million planned) Even then, a planned allocation doesn't mean the purchases have already happened. Institutional buying is typically executed over time based on liquidity and market conditions—not in one transaction.
