🚨 A fixed token supply doesn't automatically mean the price will go up. That's one of the biggest myths in crypto. Lately, I've seen the same argument everywhere: «"$CORE has a fixed supply of 2.1 billion tokens, so the price is destined to rise."» It sounds convincing—but it leaves out the most important part of the story. Yes, $CORE's maximum supply is capped at 2.1 billion. That's a fact. But a fixed maximum supply is not the same as a fixed circulating supply. As long as team allocations, treasury reserves, and ecosystem tokens continue unlocking, more tokens enter the market. That creates selling pressure, even if the total supply never changes. There are a few other points investors shouldn't ignore: • Staking isn't guaranteed demand. If users are staking only because of rewards, those tokens can quickly become sell pressure when incentives end. • Gas fee burning is still relatively small. It currently isn't large enough to offset the impact of newly unlocked tokens. • Future demand is a possibility—not a certainty. Growth depends on real users, active applications, and sustained capital inflows, not just optimistic projections. And perhaps the biggest mistake is comparing $CORE to $BTC. Bitcoin's value isn't built on a fixed supply alone. It's backed by years of global adoption, deep liquidity, and strong market consensus. A supply cap by itself doesn't create demand. The metrics that really matter are simple: ✅ How many new tokens are unlocked each month? ✅ Is on-chain activity and fee generation actually growing? ✅ Is staking driven by real utility or temporary incentives? ✅ Is fresh capital entering the ecosystem?
