#CircleArcLaunch Circle reported Q2 revenue and reserve income of $701 million, while adjusted EBITDA increased to $143 million. Average USDC circulation grew 25% year over year, although quarter-end circulation fell from the previous quarter. The numbers show healthy long-term adoption but also demonstrate how stablecoin demand can fluctuate with market liquidity, interest rates, trading activity, and competition. The larger development is Arc, Circle’s institutional settlement blockchain. Arc has entered private mainnet and is expected to launch publicly on September 16, with BlackRock, Visa, Mastercard, and DTCC among its founding validators. In my view, these partnerships provide credibility but do not guarantee meaningful adoption. Arc must produce real transaction volume, useful tokenized assets, reliable infrastructure, and stronger demand for USDC. Its success will be measured after launch, when institutions decide whether to use the network continuously rather than participate only as early partners.
