InnoLight controls roughly 27% of the global transceiver market, yet the FCC is pushing to have it banned by the end of the year. The challenge is that U.S. competitors don't have the production scale to fill that gap. Capacity can't be replaced overnight if it hasn't already been built. That's why the market often reacts before the fundamentals fully play out. From an investment standpoint, I prefer the company that's already generating profits.
