Exxon Mobil Corporation est une entreprise énergétique mondiale qui explore et extrait des ressources pétrolières et gazières naturelles sur ses opérations nationales et ses territoires internationaux. L’entreprise organise ses vastes activités en trois divisions principales : Amont, Aval et Chimique. Au-delà de l’acquisition de ressources, Exxon Mobil est profondément engagée dans la fabrication, le commerce commercial, le transport logistique et la commercialisation du pétrole brut, du gaz naturel, des produits pétroliers raffinés, d’une large gamme de pétrochimiques (dont les oléfines, polyoléfines et aromatiques) et d’autres produits chimiques spécialisés. De plus, l’entreprise développe activement des solutions dans la capture et le stockage du carbone, l’hydrogène et les biocarburants. Au 31 décembre 2021, la société maintenait environ 20 528 puits opérationnels nets avec réserves vérifiées. Fondée en 1870, le siège social d’Exxon Mobil est situé à Irving, Texas.
