📊 WEEKEND BTC UPDATE Last night’s Nonfarm Payrolls surprised sharply to the downside: Expected: +80K Actual: -23K Normally, that would be bullish for risk assets and gold. Gold jumped around 2.5%, but $BTC barely reacted. BTC tested $65K three times and failed, then spent Saturday moving sideways between $64K–$65K, with volatility under 1%. Why the muted reaction? Weekend liquidity is thin. With major Asian and U.S. markets closed, there’s less incentive for large players to make aggressive moves. The positive macro catalyst is now sitting on the table. Monday’s liquidity could determine whether BTC finally breaks out or remains range-bound. For now, I’m staying patient and keeping my short positions open.
