One of the obvious beneficiaries is $COHR Look at what happened in June. The Trump admin signed a LOI for up to $50 million in CHIPS Act funding to expand their 6-inch InP facility in Sherman, Texas. That expansion is expected to quadruple wafer-processing capacity for the lasers and photonic chips powering AI data-center connectivity. "Domestic optical capacity" "Supply-chain security" Then today we hear the administration is drafting restrictions on new Chinese optical transceivers. So, fund trusted U.S. capacity first to help them ramp. Then apply pressure to Chinese optical suppliers. Washington understands that Chinese optics cannot be removed overnight without slowing the AI buildout. So the real strategy appears to be building out $COHR , $LITE , $AAOI and other trusted suppliers into strategic infrastructure. Push hyperscalers to reserve and fund their capacity. Reduce Chinese dependence over time. And keep the threat of restrictions as negotiating leverage. Expecting more of this.
