🚨 Two French crypto millionaires in their 20s were kidnapped in London and tortured for 52 hours.
They'd reportedly been flaunting their wealth online. A trip to East London to buy weed turned into an ambush by three masked men with a gun and a knife.
For two days they were beaten, tied up, and burned with cigarettes. Mutilation and sexual violence were used as threats.
The kidnappers wanted $150,000. The victims were forced to send $30,000 in crypto before police caught up.
A friend tipped off investigators, who traced a phone left in the getaway car. One suspect was grabbed at an Airbnb. The other three crashed into a lamppost trying to outrun police through London.
This is not a one-off. CertiK logged 52 verified crypto wrench attacks in just the first half of 2026:
• $124 million in exposure
• France alone: 33 of those attacks
Home invasions and kidnappings targeting crypto holders are rising. If you're doxxed, you could be next.

🚨 Japan reportedly dumped $96 billion in U.S. Treasury holdings in just three months.
That drops their total to the lowest level since April 2025.
- Japan: $1.14 trillion held, down $96B in 3 months
- China: still trimming its own holdings
Two of the biggest foreign holders of U.S. debt are pulling back at the same time.
And for China, this isn't a one-off move. It's part of a longer shift away from U.S. debt altogether.

🚨 Japan just fired its biggest currency intervention EVER.
¥8.45 trillion. $53 billion. In one single day.
Reportedly the largest single-day intervention in Japan's history. Bigger than the previous record from April 2024.
But this isn't even the first time this year.
April: $72.5 billion in a month.
May: another $35 billion.
Now: $53 billion in one day alone.
And the yen is still falling.
Wide rate gaps with the US aren't helping. Neither is oil above $100 from the Iran war, pushing import costs higher.
Every intervention buys a bounce. None of them fix the pressure underneath.
Japan holds $1.16 trillion in reserves.
At this pace, that's not a war chest. That's a countdown.
Tokyo keeps proving it will spend big to defend the yen.
The market keeps testing whether that's enough.
