Look, this is getting weird.
Trump Media just pushed another 2,628 BTC, about $165 million worth, over to Crypto.com. Not exactly the kind of move people ignore. Add it up and they've now sent 7,281 BTC to exchanges this year.
Here's the thing. They originally picked up 11,542 BTC at an average price somewhere around $118,500. Doesn't sound terrible until you realize the combined realized and unrealized hit is sitting around $555 million.
I know what you're thinking. "Maybe they're just moving coins around." Sure. Maybe. Exchanges aren't always the final stop. But after this many transfers, people are going to ask questions, and honestly, they should.
Feels like one department is saying, "We're holding for the long haul," while another is quietly filling out transfer forms at 2 a.m., hoping nobody notices until the reports come out next week.
Nobody outside the company knows the full plan. Maybe it's treasury management. Maybe collateral. Maybe something else entirely. Still, moving thousands of Bitcoin while you're already staring at half a billion dollars in losses isn't the kind of thing that slips under the radar.
Sometimes the blockchain tells the story before the press release does.
