How am I serviced as an Australian customer?

If you're an Australian resident, you were previously provided services by Aux Cayes FinTech Co. Ltd. (a Seychelles registered company) (Aux Cayes) prior to 20 March 2024. As part of our global commitment to compliance with local regulatory standards and to providing local currency support, your OKX experience is now provided by entities registered onshore in Australia.

This means:

• Digital currency exchange services is provided by OKX Australia Pty Ltd (ABN 22 636 269 040).

• Crypto derivatives and margin are issued by OKX Australia Financial Pty Ltd (ABN 14 145 724 509, AFSL 379035).

• OKX Pay Wallet and OKX Card are issued by Bano Pty Ltd (ABN 93 643 260 431, AFSL 536984), with OKX Australia Pty Ltd acting as distributor and authorised representative of Bano Pty Ltd in relation to those products.

• Other selected products and services continue to be offered by the relevant OKX entities as set out in our Terms of Service.

How can I access derivatives and margin related products?

• Wholesale clients: Once your account has been verified, you'll need to demonstrate that you meet the definition of a wholesale client as set out in the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth) to access up to 50x leverage on derivatives and margin products.

• Retail Derivatives users: Eligible retail clients can access select derivatives products with up to 2x leverage, subject to eligibility criteria.
