If I had to choose only one DeFi project, I would choose Aave. Not because it's the hottest, but because it's the most foundational. Transactions can be spread across many protocols, but lending and credit will definitely concentrate on the strongest platform. Aave plays exactly this role. Stablecoins, ETH, RWA—as long as on-chain finance continues to expand in the future, the lending market will become increasingly important. Many people see it as a lending protocol, but I prefer to see it as the bank of the entire on-chain finance ecosystem.
