Someone asked me today whether $SOL can still make its way back to $300. Honestly, I think it’s difficult — very difficult. The move from $9 to $300 happened under completely different conditions. Liquidity was pouring in, speculation was intense, and the Solana ecosystem was buzzing with activity. Capital was flowing everywhere, and the narrative had incredible momentum. Today, the landscape has changed. BSC has captured a significant share of on-chain activity, while platforms like Robinhood are taking another slice of the market. SOL is facing much stronger competition for liquidity and attention. To reclaim the old highs, Solana probably needs a fresh narrative or a major catalyst. Simply saying “our TPS is faster” isn’t enough anymore — the market has heard that story many times. Without a meaningful breakthrough, $300 remains more of a dream than a base case. That said, I’ve opened a small $SOL long position as a test.
