In my view, oil prices may remain volatile until physical shipping data confirms a sustained recovery. A signed statement will mean little if insurers refuse coverage or companies cannot make permitted payments. Investors should monitor tanker movements, insurance premiums, sanctions guidance, and Iran’s parliamentary decisions. Continued restrictions could keep oil and inflation elevated, complicating the outlook for equities, crypto, and Federal Reserve policy.
