$FIL — Most of the criticism seems to come from short-term holders who simply can’t tolerate the selling pressure.
And honestly, that’s understandable. $FIL has faced some of its toughest selling pressure in years, and there’s no guarantee the next few years will be easy either.
But the thesis here is fundamentally long term.
Over the next 5–6 years, Filecoin will ultimately be judged by technology, adoption, network utility, and whether its business model actually works — not by short-term price movements.
That’s why I see $FIL as a high-risk, high-upside business opportunity, rather than a quick trade.
If the technology and ecosystem succeed, the upside could potentially be enormous. If the thesis fails, however, the downside is equally brutal — $0.10, $0.05, or potentially even lower.
That asymmetry is exactly why short-term traders should think twice before entering.
If you can’t handle years of volatility, $FIL probably isn’t the coin for you.
