The "Altseason" Narrative Is Still Being Tested
Altcoins may be turning green, but that doesn't automatically mean a full-fledged altseason has arrived.
While names like $WLD and $ENA have posted strong gains, broader liquidity still appears concentrated in $BTC and $ETH, suggesting fresh capital hasn't fully rotated across the market.
Another point worth watching is whale positioning. One of the top-performing on-chain wallets recently increased its short exposure on $AVAX, despite growing optimism around a potential breakout. While a single wallet doesn't define the trend, it does highlight that not every large player is expecting immediate upside.
At the same time, $MMT's sharp decline drew relatively little market reaction, another reminder that liquidity remains selective rather than broad.
For now, $ETH continues attracting institutional attention, $BTC remains the market's anchor, and $SOL has yet to see the kind of momentum many traders were expecting.
The real question isn't whether altcoins are bouncing—it's whether they can attract sustained capital and develop independent narratives instead of simply following Bitcoin's direction.
