đš $1.1B JUST FLOWED INTO BTC & ETH⊠SO WHY IS PRICE STILL STUCK? đđ°
This might be one of the biggest contradictions in crypto right now.
Institutional demand is clearly improving.
But price action?
Still hesitant.
The latest weekly ETF numbers:
đ $BTC: ~$853.5M
đ” $ETH: ~$244.9M
Thatâs roughly $1.1B flowing into BTC and ETH combined.
And yet $BTC is still stuck around the mid-$60K region instead of breaking higher with conviction.
So whatâs going on?
There are a few possibilities.
đŠ ETF demand is being absorbed by existing sellers.
đ Traders may be taking profits into resistance.
â ïž Derivatives leverage could also be overpowering spot demand in the short term.
Thatâs why I wouldnât look at ETF flows in isolation.
The bigger question is:
What happens if these inflows keep coming?
Imagine this:
đŠ ETF buying continues
đ Selling pressure fades
đșđž CPI comes in favorably
đ§ Liquidity improves
At some point, available supply starts getting thinner.
And when that happens, a market that has looked completely stuck can move very quickly. đ
But thereâs another side to this.
If ETF inflows start weakening while $BTC keeps getting rejected at resistance, the market could be telling us that institutional demand still isnât strong enough to overpower distribution.
Thatâs why Iâm watching flow persistence, not just one impressive weekly number.
One strong week can change sentiment.
Several consecutive weeks can change the market structure.
đ $1.1B has arrived.
Now the real question is:
Can it actually move the market?
