Buying the “right” coin, holding it for an entire month, and watching it go nowhere — while $ADA gains nearly 20% in a week. That’s the market we’re in right now. $BTC is hovering around $64K and still more than 48% below its previous peak, but capital isn’t sitting idle. It’s rotating aggressively between narratives and sectors. Small-cap memes like $POR , $WKC, and $HEI are heating up, while privacy coins such as $ZEC (+12% weekly) and $XMR are quietly breaking higher. Meanwhile, $ONDO and the broader RWA sector are down around 10%, while $XRP, $SUI, and $PEPE remain caught in a battle between buyers and sellers. One interpretation is smart-money rotation — altcoins with strong narratives are still attracting capital. Another view is that the $ZEC and $ADA rallies are simply short-term rotations in a market with limited liquidity. Until $BTC reclaims its previous high, a broad and sustainable altseason may remain difficult. My take: watch where the money is flowing, not just which coins are pumping. The strength in privacy assets and even gold-backed tokens like $XAUT suggests a more defensive, risk-off mindset rather than a classic altseason. Altseason may not be dead — it may simply be fragmented into sector-by-sector waves. Pick the right narrative and you can outperform; hold the “right” coin at the wrong time, and you could be waiting much longer than expected.
