One $50.9M short on Hyperliquid isn’t enough to sustain a $BTC breakout.
If liquidated, the platform closes roughly 20% first, creating about $10.2M in forced buy flow—only around 0.02% of total $BTC futures OI.
That could clear some thin local asks, but it won’t fuel a lasting breakout on its own.
For the move to hold, real buyers across the broader market still need to keep stepping in.
