The biggest USDT story today is regulatory scrutiny of Tether.
* 🇺🇸 U.S. Senate investigators released a report examining 846 crypto wallets linked to Iran and regional groups. They said 84% had transacted exclusively or almost exclusively in USDT.
* ⚠️ The report has prompted calls for the U.S. Treasury and Justice Department to investigate Tether’s sanctions and AML compliance. This is an allegation/report from Democratic investigators, not a final finding by the full Senate.
