🚨 Optical stocks are surging pre-market: $LITE $COHR $AAOI $AXTI $GLW $CRDO $NOK The Trump administration and FCC are reportedly drafting restrictions on new Chinese optical transceivers used in U.S. data centers. The goal is to prevent potential data theft, malware installation and service disruptions as AI infrastructure becomes increasingly critical. Why this matters: China’s Zhongji Innolight controls approximately 27% of the global data-center transceiver market. Restrictions could force U.S. hyperscalers to shift orders toward non-Chinese suppliers.
