🚨 NFP Wasn't Just Weak. It Was a Major Miss. The July US jobs report came in far below expectations. 🇺🇸 Actual NFP: -23K 📊 Forecast: ~80–83K 📉 Previous June: 57K → revised lower 👷 Unemployment: 4.1% The headline is shocking: The US economy lost 23,000 jobs in July instead of adding around 83,000. But the details are even more interesting. Previous months were revised down by another 103K. Wage growth also cooled to around 3.2% YoY. This is a much softer labor-market picture than the market was expecting.
