Fasanara Capital Position Update: Gradually Reducing $ETH Shorts While BTC Bias Keeps Flipping Fasanara Capital remains one of the most active funds on Hyperliquid, currently managing around $22.9M in capital with an active trading approach. $ETH : The fund has been steadily trimming its short exposure, reducing the position from roughly $53M to $46.5M (around 24.8K $ETH ). The trade is currently showing an unrealized loss of more than $1.1M, suggesting a controlled risk reduction rather than a full exit. $BTC : Bitcoin positioning has been far less consistent. Fasanara has repeatedly switched direction—Short $37M → Long $9M → Short $25M → now back to Long—with each reversal resulting in modest losses. The current long position has also been scaled back from 400 $BTC to 260 $BTC, carrying an unrealized loss of approximately $151K. Outside of $BTC and $ETH, the fund's strongest performer remains its $HYPE short, currently up around $300K. Its largest realized losses came from a 105-day $LIT short (around -$501K) and a $SNDK long (around -$334K). Overall, Fasanara is down roughly $10M over the past 30 days.
