đš BTC CAN MOVE FAST THIS WEEKEND â BUT THAT DOESNâT MEAN THE BULLS ARE BACK. đ
Weekend Bitcoin trading can be deceptive.
I keep seeing people call every sudden move a sign that the next bull run has started.
Iâm not buying it yet.
Hereâs why liquidity matters:
đ BTCâUSDT weekend spread: ~0.012% â ~0.028%
đ Weekend volume: roughly 20â40% below weekdays
đ 21:00 UTC liquidity: down another ~42%
When ETFs are closed and some market makers scale back activity, the order book can get noticeably thinner.
And when liquidity is thin, it doesnât take much to move price.
That can create:
⥠Fake breakouts
đ Sharp wicks
đŻ Liquidity sweeps
đ Big moves with little real conviction
Sundayâs action is a good example: weak volume, limited follow-through, and mostly sideways price action.
Thatâs not exactly the confirmation I want to see.
A low-liquidity pump or dump can look dramatic on the chart â but it doesnât necessarily represent genuine demand.
đ„ The real test comes when liquidity returns.
Iâd be paying much more attention to the Monday U.S. session, when broader market activity picks back up.
Until then, my view is simple:
Low liquidity â strong demand.
Volatility â trend reversal.
One weekend candle â a new bull market.
đ Donât chase the noise.
Watch what BTC does when the real liquidity comes back.
