đ $SNDK Has Been Hit Hard â But Iâm Not Writing Off Memory Yet
$SNDK is currently sitting around a 42% drawdown, while the strongest rebound during this decline has only reached roughly 14%. That tells you just how weak the recovery attempts have been.
Yesterdayâs market reaction was also disappointing for memory stocks. Even with no rate hike and relatively healthy capex commentary from $META and $MSFT, the sector failed to respond meaningfully.
That leaves room for another downside move, especially with traders aggressively reducing exposure across the market.
Still, I wouldnât be surprised to see a 20%+ relief rally in the near term.
â ïž That doesnât mean trying to catch the exact bottom with leverage. Unless youâre an experienced short-term trader, that can turn into a very expensive guessing game.
My long-term bullish thesis on memory remains intact. What has changed is the price action. The powerful one-way rally we saw earlier in the year is unlikely to simply return overnight.
After a sell-off this severe, the market usually needs time to stabilize, absorb the excess positioning, and build a new base before a sustained trend can develop.
Have a clear strategy before entering, know where youâre wrong, and stick to your risk plan.
Patience > prediction.
