$ARB's current position is quite contradictory. The current price is $0.0786, up 3% in the past 24 hours, but down 5% over the past week. The short-term rebound does not change the fact that the mid-term trend remains weak. Even more painful is that from the historical high of $2.40 on January 12, 2024, it has dropped 97%. As one of the leading tokens in the L2 sector, this decline is worse than most mainstream coins, indicating that ARB has basically failed to convert its user base advantage into token value support over the years. From a technical structure perspective, there is a conflict between two cycles. On the daily chart, $ARB is in an ascending channel and has already reached the resistance at the upper boundary of the channel; however, on the weekly chart, the price is stuck at the sharpest point of a descending wedge, with the two cycles giving conflicting directional signals. In such cases, it usually requires waiting for a higher-level decision: a breakout upward from the daily channel, along with a simultaneous upward breakout from the weekly wedge, to be truly confirmed. The first target is 0.1023, and if it holds above that, it could further reach 0.1178. If either cycle does not cooperate, especially if the weekly wedge breaks downward, according to the chart's Fibonacci extension measurement, the downside could reach 0.0216, which is nearly a 50% cut from the current price. On the capital side, the buy-sell ratio is currently 0.72, with selling pressure about 40% stronger than buying. This short-term bullish candle looks more like an oversold rebound rather than confirmation of a trend reversal. Personally, I would treat ARB's current position purely as an observation point, not an action point. When the daily and weekly charts conflict, making premature conclusions often leads to losses on both ends.
