The biggest mistake people make? Thinking shorting AI means you're bearish on AI.
It doesn't.
Shorting AI today is about betting against a bubble inflated by capital flows and excessive leverage—not betting against the technology itself.
Being bullish on AI is about believing it's a long-term industrial revolution.
Think about it this way:
If BTC had surged to $200,000, futures open interest was exploding, funding rates hit 0.3%, and everyone was piled into leveraged longs...
Would shorting that market make you anti-Bitcoin?
Of course not.
It would simply mean you believe the market is overheated and due for a reset—not that you doubt Bitcoin's long-term trajectory.
That's exactly how I see AI today.
Meanwhile, the people who keep calling AI (or Bitcoin) a scam are the ones history keeps proving wrong, regardless of how the market moves in the short term.
