Hot take: Shorting AI doesn't mean you're bearish on AI. Those are two completely different ideas. Shorting is about betting against a market that's become overheated by speculation and excessive leverage. Being bullish on AI is about believing it's a once-in-a-generation technological and industrial revolution. The two can absolutely coexist. The best comparison is crypto. Imagine BTC had already ripped to $200,000. Futures open interest is exploding, funding rates are sitting at 0.3%, and everyone is max leveraged long. In that environment, opening a short isn't a bet against Bitcoin's future. It's a bet that the market has gotten ahead of itself. That's exactly how I see AI today. The people shorting AI-related assets aren't necessarily saying AI is dead. Many are simply saying the capital game has inflated parts of the market beyond reality. Meanwhile, the people who keep insisting AI (or BTC back then) is just a scam have been on the wrong side of history, regardless of how the market swings in the short term. There's a big difference between calling a bubble... and denying a revolution. #DailyOrbit
