The biggest volatility right now isn't in crypto... it's in the U.S. stock market. 👀
In just two trading days, SanDisk surged 42.4% while SK Hynix jumped 40.7%. That's a reminder of how quickly market sentiment can flip.
Here are my two views:
1️⃣ This AI revolution isn't a bubble—it's a massive redistribution of wealth.
I've said this from the beginning.
The U.S. stock market has rallied aggressively over the past few years, especially across the AI supply chain. Many companies have gained several times over, with some rising more than 10x. When valuations move too far ahead of earnings, a correction becomes inevitable.
I see this decline as a healthy reset—profit-taking, deleveraging, and valuation repricing—not a breakdown in the AI narrative.
Recent earnings continue to support that view.
Microsoft is still growing AI-driven revenue, SK Hynix is expanding capital expenditures, and long-term HBM orders continue to rise. AI infrastructure spending hasn't stopped.
Looking five or even ten years ahead, the biggest sentiment-driven corrections often become the best opportunities to accumulate quality assets.
The key is position sizing—not going all-in at once.
2️⃣ I believe the last two days are a rebound, not a full reversal.
The storage sector added hundreds of billions of dollars in market value within two days, but much of that looks like a recovery from oversold conditions rather than the start of a fresh bull run.
For a sustainable rally, I believe two things still need to happen:
• The Federal Reserve must genuinely enter a rate-cutting cycle.
• AI investment must continue turning into real profits—not just higher capital expenditures.
For now, macro headwinds like elevated interest rates, oil prices, and geopolitical tensions haven't disappeared. Liquidity still doesn't support a one-way rally in U.S. equities.
That's why I see this as a recovery—not the beginning of a new major uptrend.
The hardest part of investing isn't predicting the market—it's staying disciplined when emotions are running at their highest.
