đ¨ Bitcoin is getting boring. And that might be exactly what the market needs.
Bitcoinâs short-term holder activity has fallen close to historical lows.
At first glance, that sounds bearish.
But history tells a more interesting story.
The biggest bottoms usually donât form when everyone is excited and bullish.
They form when nobody cares anymore.
When the charts become boring.
When volatility disappears.
When people stop checking their portfolios.
When the market feels like itâs going nowhere.
Thatâs often when a real bottom starts quietly taking shape.
But thereâs an important catch:
Low short-term activity does NOT mean Bitcoin is about to pump tomorrow.
Look at 2015, 2019, and late 2022.
These conditions can stick around for monthsâor even longerâwhile Bitcoin builds a base.
Thatâs why I see this more as a long-term signal than a short-term trade signal.
The market may still have plenty of patience-testing ahead.
And thereâs one quote that perfectly describes these moments:
âThe best assets are often hardest to buy when theyâre actually cheapâand easiest to buy when theyâre already expensive.â
When everyone believes Bitcoin is cheap, it usually doesnât feel cheap.
And when everyone believes it can only go higherâŚ
thatâs when you need to be careful.
Maybe boring is exactly what Bitcoin needs right now. đ
