🧠 AI’s Biggest Bottleneck May No Longer Be Chips — It Could Be Memory.
$BTC
For the past two years, the AI investment narrative has been dominated by GPUs.
$ETH
That may be changing.
Memory is becoming just as critical to the AI infrastructure race.
This week offered a clear example. Western Digital and SanDisk both delivered earnings above expectations, yet their stocks came under pressure as investors focused on cautious forward guidance.
Meanwhile, South Korea’s semiconductor sector faced heavy selling, with SK hynix experiencing a sharp premarket drop while Samsung also came under pressure.

Adding another layer to the debate, reports suggest Nvidia reduced memory configurations in certain Rubin Ultra models amid tight supplies of high-end HBM (High Bandwidth Memory).
That raises a critical question:
Is limited memory supply bullish because scarcity supports pricing power and margins?
Or is it becoming a genuine bottleneck that could restrict AI server shipments and slow the pace of deployment?
The market appears divided.
Investors have aggressively rewarded AI infrastructure companies, but expectations are now extremely high. Beating earnings estimates is no longer enough.
Companies also need to demonstrate that their supply chains can support the next phase of AI growth.
The AI race isn’t simply about who builds the fastest processors anymore.
It’s increasingly about who can secure enough memory to power them.
So what do you think?
Will memory shortages create stronger pricing power for manufacturers — or become the biggest constraint on AI expansion?
