🏦 $1.1B ENTERED BTC & ETH ETFs — SO WHY IS CRYPTO STILL STUCK? Here's one of the most interesting contradictions in the market right now. Institutional money is coming back. Yet $BTC is still hovering around the $64K area, while $ETH remains around the low-$1,900s. During the first full week of August: 🟠 $BTC ETFs → ~$853.5M inflows 🔵 $ETH ETFs → ~$244.9M inflows 💰 Combined → ~$1.1B Bitcoin also recorded five consecutive sessions of ETF inflows, reversing the previous week's withdrawals. So why hasn't price exploded? Because ETF buying is only one side of the market. Derivatives positioning, profit-taking and spot selling can absorb institutional demand and keep price compressed. And that creates an interesting setup. If ETF inflows continue while $BTC refuses to break down, sellers may eventually run out of ammunition. Then Wednesday's CPI arrives. 📉 Softer inflation → easier financial conditions 📈 Hotter inflation → yields/risk pressure 🏦 Continued ETF buying → structural demand The market is therefore approaching a potential pressure-release point. Bitcoin doesn't necessarily need billions more to arrive. It may simply need existing demand to overwhelm the supply sitting above it. 👀 That's why I'm watching the price reaction to the next wave of ETF flows, not just the headline inflow number.
