I’ve now published the exact indicator behind my $BTC cycle projection for you all to use for free on TradingView. Every bull market produces increasingly ambitious price targets with very little methodology behind them. This indicator allows you to approach the next cycle quantitatively instead. It takes Bitcoin’s previous bottom-to-top return, applies an adjustable rate of diminishing returns and projects the resulting price path across the next three years. The model can automatically anchor to the latest macro low, while allowing you to change the cycle floor, previous high and diminishing factors to reflect your own thesis. The default inputs are derived from Bitcoin’s historical rate of compression between cycles.
